How to start a 1965 3000 ford tractor?
I was cutting grass with the tractor when it revved up suddenly and then ran out of diesel then stopped. I realized that it choke cable got lose so I connected it. After connecting the cable it wouldn’t start. How can I start it up again? Do I have to prime it if so how do you do that?
A little old for me , but I would say that removing the fuel filter(s) and filling them first, then locate the fuel pump and see if it has a small 1" round knob that will unscrew (left) and pull up slowly, That should be a primer pump, several pumps untill you feel resistance should do it.
