whats the best way to style pin curls?

have been experiemting with pin curls and curls in general i ahve some awesome links for those intetrested, and can my hair be finger waved?

Wash your hair add, "Dippity Doo" hair gel, (sold at Wal-mart) while wet, make your curls and pin them with those old silver flat hair clips mom always used, (also at Wal-mart) cover with shower cap or hairnet, and sleep on, or use blow dryer on low if your heading out! good luck! pincurls are so cute!
