Std Size
What size blanket for a 550lb std donkey? ?
Just trying to get an idea. I'm shopping online and most blankets only come in certain sizes - trying to narrow down my options... I will measure her tonight or tomorrow- just have to go buy the darn tape.
BTW- the weight is accurate, from an equine hospital scale.
Most horse blankets come in 69" as the smallest size. Is that even an option or should I ignore them and stick to pony blankets?

You will have to measure him.
Donks are longer than horses so to adequately get anything to fit on them, you have to measure them moreso than horses.
The 69" might fit.. I think I have a 56" on my donk and its too small.. hes in the 64" range. As far as his weight, probably about 550lbs and 12.3h.
