i have a Pioneer deh 1000 i need to know how to tune my amp with the head unit? i?

i can get to the advanced opp. but idk what they mean

how to tune your car stereo first turn your amp's gain down then play the radio untill there is distortion then back it off and let it play make sure it at is loudest without distortion , must still be clear thats important , next as it's playing slowly turn up the gain on your amp untill your speakers start to distort then back it off till it's clear and free of distortion thats how you set your amp and head unit ,

a few things to remember when setting the deck have the loud off, the bass at like -3 the mid's at like +2 and high's at +4 ,

when doing the amp set frequency at about 80hz , the bass boost at +2 , then after setting the gain you can add bass and fine tune the frequency , most between 40hz and 100hz on the amp ,
